It will take no less than an all out invasion of heaven in our midst. That is what we are contending for here in the heart of Africa... to live, love and learn where heaven meets earth.
Converge School of Supernatural Ministry and Indigenous Leadership (CSOM) has been born out of a vision of a people who become arrows ignited with God's love and shot into the darkness setting whole regions ablaze with the life and light of His Spirit.
Honestly we don't yet know what it is going to look like-- except heaven coming down, lives transformed and nations changed. Untamed love that will give its very life away with great uncontainable amounts of joy..
Carriers of His light that will see nations transformed by Love. A place where heaven converges with earth. A place where leaders converge to pour out God's finest on nations. A place where tribes converge to celebrate who Jesus is distinctly in their own cultural expressions, while being interwoven together into an unprecedented display of His beauty in the earth.
We have never gone this way before. We have never done what we are about to step into so we are going moment by moment led by His Spirit. It is a holy experiment. It is a great cliff dive of faith into the raw unexplored frontiers of His dreams. And it is absolutely NOT about us. It is about Him: His glory. His fame. His renown. His heartbeat heard. His Presence released. His beauty revealed. His dreams fulfilled.
CSOM Compression Sessions are 3-5 week long intensives that weave together biblical studies, contextualized leadership training and practical discipleship with experiential ministry and the realm of the supernatural, impartation and revelation. Our curriculum is customized for the cultures represented in each class of students.
Most ministry training schools are based on a Western linear teaching paradigm that does not translate well into cultures that are non-linear or based in oral tradition. So we are blowing up the box and redefining the lines of what ministry training in an indigenous setting can look like. Our training is not just customized in what is taught, but it is contextualized in the way in which it is presented. Most curriculums look like a line. Ours looks like a web.
So we may not follow our own plan and more learning will take place out of the classroom setting than in it. We will throw out all our schedules and ideas at one whisper of His Spirit to follow the leading of His heart.

Unexplored? Maybe. Unconventional? Definitely. Western? Not at all. This is not ministry training for the western world. It is time the sounds of heaven expressed in the indigenous sounds of the nations be released.
We can’t do what we have always done before. Today God is giving voice to the voiceless and raising up theologies of life from tribes and cultures around the world. CSOM is called to see a generation of servant leaders in the nations equipped to live from heaven to earth and carry God’s glory-love into the deepest darkness releasing rivers of life every place they go.
